Connect Amplitude to MySQL

Register your Amplitude project with its API key and secret key, select the correct Standard or EU endpoint, add your MySQL connection details, and pair both systems in a datastream.

You can select event-level dimensions such as attribution IDs, city, event ID, client upload time, and server upload time. Nested properties and data objects are stored as JSON strings for flexible MySQL querying.

Catchr processes Amplitude exports in 24-hour windows using server upload time, then writes the selected fields to MySQL. Exported data can lag ingestion by up to two hours, while available history and scheduling depend on the source API and your plan.

Use server upload time as the job’s date field so Catchr can delete and rewrite the scheduled window in MySQL, limiting duplicate rows across overlapping runs.
