Adjust to Data Studio (ex Looker Studio): FAQ

Answers to common questions about connecting data to spreadsheets, dashboards, AI assistants, and reporting tools with Catchr.

How do I connect Adjust to Looker Studio?

Connect Adjust in Catchr, select the app and reporting data you need, then create a data source with the Catchr Looker Studio connector. Start with acquisition and revenue by channel. Keep the app and campaign identifiers visible when comparing multiple acquisition programs.

Can I compare network-reported cost with attributed acquisition data?

Catchr exposes advertising cost and attribution-related fields, including distinct campaign and ad-group fields for network and attribution views. Choose a consistent reporting basis before joining them. Similar campaign names alone are not a reliable key for reconciling spend with attributed outcomes.

What is reattribution in Adjust reporting?

Reattribution assigns an existing user to an updated acquisition source when the relevant conditions are met. It is different from simply acquiring a new user for the first time. Keep acquisition and re-engagement reporting distinct when assessing how much new audience a campaign produces.

How is cohort revenue different from revenue during a calendar period?

A cohort follows a defined group of acquired users and measures their subsequent revenue. Calendar-period revenue describes activity occurring during those dates. Catchr includes cohort and non-cohort revenue fields. Match the basis of revenue and cost before calculating a return on acquisition spend.

Can I separate ad revenue from in-app purchase revenue?

Yes. Catchr's Adjust catalog includes ad revenue, total revenue and revenue-related cohort measures. Use the appropriate component for the monetization model you are evaluating. Do not add a revenue component to a total that already includes it.

Why does Adjust differ from TikTok Ads Manager?

Check attribution windows, event definitions, timezone and whether the comparison includes re-engagement. Also match the network and attribution field selection. Add TikTok Ads as a separate view, keeping its reported conversions distinct from Adjust's measurement rather than expecting identical totals.

Can I use ATT data to explain changes in measurement?

Catchr exposes ATT consent-rate and status fields. Use them to describe the measurement context for iOS activity, alongside acquisition and revenue trends. A change in consent mix can justify further investigation, but it does not by itself establish the cause of a performance change.
