Catchr includes Data Studio, Power BI, Google Sheets, Excel and MCP from $24/month, with unlimited users. Dataslayer Starter is €29/month billed annually for one selected destination, one user and three connectors. Both support everyday marketing reporting; Catchr makes the subscription simpler when your team moves between client dashboards, spreadsheets and AI.
The quick answer
Choose Catchr when several colleagues need dashboards, spreadsheet reporting and AI analysis in one subscription. BigQuery starts on Momentum at $79/month. Dataslayer is a strong fit for teams already invested in its spreadsheet queries, especially when query migration into other destinations or explicit warehouse write modes matter.
Dataslayer vs Catchr at a glance
Catchr includes the everyday reporting destinations together. Dataslayer starts with one selected destination, then offers bundles and capacity extras. Compare the full team workflow, including AI and warehouse use.

Pricing: cover the team and all its reporting tools
Catchr prices the everyday reporting workflow as one subscription. The team can use Data Studio for clients, Sheets for pacing, Excel for workbook analysis and MCP for questions without purchasing each Catchr destination separately.
Dataslayer’s published annual prices cover one selected destination. Its pricing page offers discounts for destination bundles. A single-destination user and an agency using several reporting tools should therefore compare different totals.
The prices below remain in USD for Catchr and EUR for Dataslayer. Dataslayer figures are monthly equivalents billed annually; they are not month-to-month prices or currency conversions.
What costs extra as your team grows?
| What changes | Dataslayer | Catchr |
|---|---|---|
| People | Starter includes one user; Advanced includes ten. Additional user capacity is sold where available. | Unlimited users on every plan. |
| Reporting destinations | One selected destination per base purchase. Published bundle discounts: 10% for two, 15% for three or more. | Data Studio, Power BI, Sheets, Excel and MCP included from Starter. BigQuery and wider storage access depend on tier. |
| Accounts and export volume | Accounts are counted per connector. Warehouse, storage and API Query Manager use monthly row allowances. | Accounts are counted across the subscription. Capacity upgrades follow platforms and total accounts; users stay unlimited. |
Three reporting setups, with the correct capacity
| Your setup | Catchr | Dataslayer |
|---|---|---|
| Freelancer 3 platforms / 3 accounts | Starter: $24/month. Google Ads, Meta Ads and GA4 fit. Use the dashboard, spreadsheet and AI destinations together. | Starter: €29/month billed annually. Three connectors and one user fit. The base purchase covers one selected destination. |
| Agency 5 platforms / 25 accounts / 3 people | Momentum: $79/month. Five platforms and 30 total accounts cover the portfolio. All three colleagues and the everyday reporting destinations are included. | Advanced: €99/month billed annually for one destination. Seven connectors, ten users and 50 accounts per connector cover this setup. Price additional destinations as a bundle. |
| Growth 8 platforms / 60 accounts + BigQuery/API | Growth: $239/month. Ten platforms, 100 accounts, BigQuery and API access cover the setup. | Pro: €299/month billed annually is the standard capacity tier. Ten connectors and 100 accounts per connector fit. BigQuery plus API Query Manager require the appropriate destination bundle; enterprise rows remain capped. Configured extras may offer another route. |
These examples explain which standard plan fits the team. The Dataslayer base prices are not a quote for a multi-destination bundle. For a BigQuery/API workload, row volume also affects the usable package.
Catchr’s benefit for an agency is easy to see: a colleague can investigate a client dashboard in a spreadsheet or AI assistant without buying another Catchr destination. The same connected source accounts support those tasks.
Dataslayer plans

| Pro | €299 | 10 connectors / 100 accounts each / unlimited users 2 million enterprise rows/month |
| Business | Custom quote | Custom capacity and destinations |
Paid core destinations include unlimited rows. Enterprise destinations have the separate row allowances shown above. Dataslayer provides a 15-day trial and a limited continuing free plan.
Catchr plans
| Catchr plan | Monthly price | Included capacity and destinations |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $24/month | 3 platforms 10 total accounts Data Studio, Power BI, Sheets, Excel and MCP |
| Momentum | $79/month | 5 platforms 30 total accounts Adds BigQuery |
| Growth | $239/month | 10 platforms 100 total accounts Adds API access |
| Scale | $599/month | 25 platforms 500 total accounts Wider warehouses, databases and storage; custom schema mapping |
All Catchr plans include unlimited users and unlimited Catchr requests. The connected platforms’ API limits still apply. Your team can use the included reporting destinations together; adding an analyst does not create a seat fee.
Data sources: build around your client’s marketing stack
Advertising, analytics, ecommerce and CRM platforms
Catchr connects the categories marketers use to explain performance: paid media, analytics, ecommerce, CRM and social. An agency can combine Google Ads and Meta Ads with GA4, Shopify or HubSpot in its reporting workflow.
Dataslayer covers these categories too. Its directory includes connector-specific metric information and identifies Data Studio compatibility. Choose the sources your clients use and the destinations where your team will analyze them. Browse Catchr connectors or view Dataslayer’s directory.
Metrics, dimensions and historical data
Both products let users choose a query’s date range, metrics and dimensions. An ecommerce account manager might pair campaign spend with orders and revenue; a lead-generation agency may need leads and cost per acquisition.
Field combinations and available history depend on the source API and permissions. A supported platform does not mean that every possible breakdown is identical between products. Start with the report’s business question and build the field selection around it.
Catchr’s destination choice lets the team use that connected source for a client dashboard, a workbook investigation or an AI conversation. Each destination still presents the information in the form its user needs.
Managing multiple accounts across clients
Catchr counts accounts across the subscription; Dataslayer counts accounts per connector. This changes how headroom works.
Catchr Momentum has 30 total accounts across five platforms. Dataslayer Advanced has 50 accounts per connector across seven connectors. A large agency concentrated on one channel may value Dataslayer’s larger per-connector capacity.
For the 25-account example, both plans have enough room. Catchr’s included destinations and unlimited people are the more relevant buying differences for that team.
Keep your dashboards, spreadsheets and analysis connected
Both products support the reporting destinations marketers use every week. You can build client dashboards, keep a pacing workbook current and bring data into AI assistants.
Catchr includes these everyday tools together from Starter. Dataslayer offers continuity for teams with existing spreadsheet queries and separate choices for warehouse transfer behavior.
Databases and warehouses: compare destination access and row capacity
Catchr
Dataslayer
Catchr includes BigQuery from Momentum at $79/month. Schedule exports and combine marketing results with sales data in your own warehouse. Growth adds API access; Scale adds wider warehouse, database and storage destinations with custom schema mapping.
Scale covers Snowflake, Redshift, Azure SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3, Google Cloud Storage and Azure Blob. See Catchr for BigQuery or explore the destination directory.
Dataslayer also supports a broad set of warehouse, database and storage targets. Its transfer editor provides append, replace and upsert modes. Those controls are useful when the team needs to decide how each table receives new and revised records.
The budget distinction is enterprise rows. Dataslayer’s unlimited core-reporting rows do not extend to warehouse exports. A detailed historical load uses the enterprise allowance, so its volume belongs in the package calculation.
MCP: AI analysis included from Catchr Starter
Catchr
The screen above shows Catchr in Claude. Dataslayer’s documented route also connects marketing data to Claude, ChatGPT and compatible MCP clients.
Catchr includes MCP from Starter, alongside dashboards and spreadsheets. Ask which campaigns changed most, compare channel performance or prepare talking points for a client review.
Catchr also supports export-job management today. An assistant can help turn a reporting question into a recurring export, using the destinations included in the selected Catchr plan.
Dataslayer documents read-only analysis and query guidance. Its current product page offers unlimited messages when MCP is the selected destination, or 100 messages per day when bundled with another destination from Advanced. An older help article still states a monthly allowance; the current product page is the basis here.
Dataslayer’s documented MCP does not change campaigns.

Data Studio: direct connectors for the client report
Catchr
Dataslayer
Catchr connects marketing sources directly to Data Studio. Choose the relevant accounts and build charts, date controls, filters and calculated fields for the client. You can use templates as a starting point for recurring reports.
Dataslayer also provides source-specific connectors in the Data Studio gallery. Its guide covers account selection, report creation and credential choices for sharing. A spreadsheet is not required between the source platform and dashboard.
For an agency whose client reporting already lives in Data Studio, the surrounding subscription matters. Catchr lets the analyst open Sheets or ask an AI assistant about the same connected accounts without adding another Catchr destination. See Catchr for Data Studio.
Power BI: bring marketing tables into the business model
Catchr
Dataslayer
Catchr uses saved Web queries to deliver data into Power BI. Select accounts and fields in Catchr, then load or transform the result in Power BI. Your model can combine marketing performance with sales and customer records.
Dataslayer offers a Power BI destination and separately documents an API Query Manager route. The pictured guide shows a saved query URL imported through Power BI’s Web connection. Those are distinct product routes when selecting a Dataslayer package.
An existing Dataslayer user can copy supported Google Sheets query definitions into its Power BI workflow. That continuity can reduce rebuilding. Catchr includes Power BI from Starter alongside its other everyday reporting destinations. Explore Catchr for Power BI.
Google Sheets: recurring reports and reusable query work
Catchr
Dataslayer
Catchr’s native Sheets add-on keeps query building inside the workbook. Select source accounts, dates and fields, then schedule hourly, daily, weekly or monthly updates. Replace, append and combine/update modes support different recurring report needs.
Dataslayer also uses a native sidebar to create and edit queries. Its distinctive migration tool copies supported Sheets query definitions into destinations including Power BI, BigQuery, Snowflake and API Query Manager.
That is useful when a team prototypes a report in Sheets and later moves the feed into a warehouse. The copied query still needs its first run and destination schedule.
Catchr fits teams that want the pacing workbook, client dashboard and AI analysis covered together. The next person joining that reporting process can use Catchr without another seat fee. See Catchr for Google Sheets.
Excel: both provide a native add-in
Catchr
Dataslayer
Catchr includes a native Excel add-in for web and desktop from Starter. Build queries and schedule updates while keeping the team’s workbook formulas, charts and reporting habits.
Dataslayer also has a native Excel add-in. Its scheduled-refresh guide uses OneDrive Personal or a SharePoint site for workbook synchronization. It also documents optional scheduled file exports and notifications.
The difference is the package around the add-in. An Excel user on Catchr can also work in Sheets, Data Studio, Power BI and MCP within the same subscription. Dataslayer’s base purchase selects a destination, with bundles available for additional tools.
If the finance team uses Excel while account managers use client dashboards, include both workflows in the buying decision. Explore Catchr for Excel.

It can be a strong fit for a team focused on one destination with many accounts per connector. The continuing free plan also provides a limited option for a single-source personal workflow.

How to move from Dataslayer to Catchr
- Choose one client dashboard or recurring workbook as the first migration.
- Connect its platforms and accounts in Catchr, then recreate the source queries in the destination your team uses.
- Keep the existing formulas and report layout where practical. Replace the underlying data connection and restore the refresh schedule.
- Move warehouse exports to the Catchr plan that includes the target, starting with the tables the report needs.
- Compare the finished report for one agreed period, then switch the recurring reporting process.
Dataslayer’s internal query-migration tool moves queries between Dataslayer destinations; it is not an automatic transfer into Catchr. Catchr’s 14-day trial lets the team rebuild a real workflow before buying, with no credit card required.
