Add a right axis

What is a "right axis" or "right Y-axis"?
The right axis is a secondary Y-axis located on the right side of your chart, used to measure a second metric. For instance, if you wish to compare the number of sessions and the engagement rate on your website, you can display both metrics on the same chart and select the right axis for one of them.

Steps to add the right-axis in Looker Studio
Quick steps:
- Create your chart
- Add dimensions and metrics
- Go to "style" tab
- Check the "right" box in the "Axes" section
1. Create your chart
You can add a right axis with all these charts:
- time series chart
- sparkline chart
- smoothed time series chart
- combo chart
- stacked combo chart
- line chart
- smoothed line chart
2. Add your dimension and metrics
Your dimension will appear on the x-axis, and metrics on the y-axis. You need to add 2 metrics to use the multiple y-axis.

3. Go to "Style" tab
When you click on the chart, a window appears at the right of your screen. There are 2 tabs: "set-up" and "style", click on the "style" tab at the right.

4. Scroll to "Series no. 2"
In the "Style" tab, scroll to series no.2 and "Axes" section. In this section check the "right" box.

Finally, you can see a right y-axis on your chart!
