Prepare data before every question.
- Export files from the marketing platform
- Reformat and reconcile columns
- Rebuild the analysis for each follow-up

Three steps to your first source-aware prompt.

Configure the Catchr remote MCP connection in Claude using the connector details from Catchr.
Replace account, period, KPI target, and threshold variables before you ask Claude.

“Why did CPA rise?” sounds simple. The answer is usually buried across exports, formulas, filters, and tabs before the analysis can even start.

Choose the right account, date range, breakdowns, and fields. Then wait for the file and do it again when the question changes.

Rename columns, fix formats, join tabs, and check formulas before you can trust the comparison.

Turn the numbers into a client-ready answer, then repeat the whole process for the inevitable follow-up.
Catchr MCP gives Claude access to the marketing accounts you select, so each follow-up starts with the same marketing context instead of a new manual export.
Choose your role, open a workflow, then replace the bracketed variables before pasting the prompt into Claude. Every prompt asks for evidence, limits, and a concrete output.
Clear answers for marketers comparing connectors, data sources, reporting workflows, and dashboard setup.
Claude can analyze ChatGPT Ads impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, CTR, CPC, and CPM. It can break results down using available account, campaign, ad group, ad, date, budget, currency, status, and other supported dimensions returned by the Catchr connection.
Claude can work at account, campaign, ad-group, ad, and standard date grains when the requested fields support them. Product, country, and device are performance segments, but a ChatGPT Ads request can select only one of these segments at a time.
Yes. Claude can compare impressions, clicks, spend, conversions, CTR, CPC, and CPM across supported dates and advertising entities. Specify the period, comparison window, account currency, reporting grain, and any filters so the result remains clear and consistent.
Claude can identify supported changes in delivery, engagement, cost, and click-through conversions across campaigns, ad groups, or ads. Ask it to separate observed patterns from possible explanations and to show the fields behind each finding before recommending further investigation.
Use prompts that name the date range, entity level, comparison, threshold, and desired output. For example, ask Claude to rank campaigns by spend and conversions, compare ad-group CTR between periods, review campaign budgets alongside delivery, or summarize ad performance for a client report.
For aggregated ChatGPT Ads results, CTR is calculated from clicks divided by impressions, CPC from spend divided by clicks, and CPM from spend per thousand impressions. Claude should use these recomputed rates instead of adding or averaging row-level rate values.
Each ChatGPT Ads API key currently resolves one ad account. Claude can compare accounts when each required account is available through its own Catchr connection; request separate account results first, then a combined summary with aligned dates, currencies, timezones, and reporting grains.
You need a bearer API key created in Ads Manager, access to the ad account resolved by that key, a Catchr workspace with ChatGPT Ads connected, and Catchr MCP enabled in Claude. The connection is API-key based rather than OAuth based.
Claude analyzes the ChatGPT Ads records returned through Catchr and should not assume they are real time. Ask it to state the latest available record date, requested period, timezone, and any missing intervals before interpreting performance trends.
No. The ChatGPT Ads connector is read-only, so Claude cannot create or edit campaigns, upload creatives, or upload conversion events through Catchr. Use its analysis to prepare an action plan, then make approved changes in the appropriate advertising interface.
Our team is always here to answer any questions you may have about our data connector.
