Explore Mailchimp campaigns, click activity and subscriber performance

Start with campaign results, investigate recipient engagement, or review subscriber value. Keep each question tied to the right reporting period: campaign totals describe campaigns sent in your selected range, while dated activity describes actions within a period.

01

Campaign clicks and revenue for client reviews

Review campaign title, subject line, type and send time alongside total clicks, unique clicks, click rate and e-commerce total revenue. Identify campaigns to discuss with clients and show their reported results side by side.

Select campaigns by send time and label their results as lifetime totals. Revenue and clicks for those campaigns are not limited to activity that occurred during the selected send-date range.

02

A/B click results and recipient activity

Compare the A and B splits using recipient clicks, total link clicks, unique link clicks and unique link click percentages. Use these results to describe how the two groups differed without assuming what caused the difference.

For questions about when engagement happened, query dated recipient click activity separately. Do not combine that activity with campaign totals solely by campaign ID: the dates represent different things.

03

Subscriber engagement and reported value

Review members using Member Web ID, Member Source, average click rate and member total revenue. Find subscribers with strong click engagement or reported revenue, and inspect the sources through which they joined the list.

List click rate offers another reporting view: the average click rate per campaign for a list. It may be absent when it has not yet been calculated, so keep missing values separate from zero.

Mailchimp reporting with Catchr MCP: common questions

How do I connect Mailchimp to ChatGPT or Claude through Catchr?

Connect Mailchimp to Catchr using OAuth, select the relevant account and choose ChatGPT or Claude through Catchr MCP. Begin with a specific question, such as comparing click results for campaigns sent in a selected date range.

Does a campaign date range limit clicks and revenue to that period?

No. Campaign reporting uses send time to select campaigns, then returns their lifetime totals. To count clicks that occurred within a particular period, query dated recipient activity separately with both timestamp boundaries.

Which Mailchimp A/B results can I compare?

You can compare A and B recipient clicks, total link clicks, unique link clicks and link click percentages. These fields help describe engagement differences; they do not by themselves establish statistical significance or explain why a split performed better.

What should I consider when requesting a full year of Mailchimp data?

Large-account reports can take longer, and annual-query performance remains a limitation. Start with the campaigns and period needed for your question. Keep recipient activity queries separate from campaign totals because their date meanings differ.
