Threads data for your next client review

Explore post performance, profile activity and audience context. Keep each metric report separate so lifetime post results, profile reporting periods and current follower counts retain their meaning.

01

Published posts and lifetime engagement

Review published top-level posts using their text, permalink, media type, topic tag and quote-post status. Compare lifetime views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and shares to identify posts worth discussing with your client.

Publication dates select which posts appear. Their engagement figures cover each post's lifetime, so they do not measure engagement earned only during the selected publication period.

02

Profile engagement and view intervals

Report profile likes, replies, reposts and quotes for an explicitly requested time range. Retain the range start and end when preparing period comparisons for a client review.

Query profile views separately using the intervals returned by Threads. Keep each interval-end timestamp and its original offset rather than assigning an assumed reporting day.

03

Link clicks and current audience context

Rank returned URLs by profile link clicks for a requested range. Include the URL and range boundaries to show clients exactly what each click total covers.

In a separate query, retrieve the current follower count with the profile name or username. This count is a current snapshot, independent of date selection; it cannot establish historical follower growth. Missing metric values remain missing, while reported zero values stay zero.

Choose how to review Threads performance

A focused Threads analysis helps answer a content question. A report presents results for clients. Catchr MCP lets you ask questions about the connected profile in ChatGPT or Claude. Choose the approach that fits the work in front of you.

Connect Catchr MCP to your AI assistant

Connect Threads in Catchr using OAuth and authorize access to the profile and its insights. The selected profile must match the authenticated Threads identity; this connection covers that profile.

Choose ChatGPT or Claude through Catchr MCP, then ask a question with the profile and relevant date boundaries. If the connection expires, reconnect the profile before querying again.

Four Threads questions to bring to your next client call

Replace the bracketed values with your client's profile and reporting boundaries. Each prompt uses one compatible metric report and asks for an output you can review before sharing with a client.

PROMPT 01

Find posts that generate replies

Using Catchr, review published top-level Threads posts for [profile] published between [start timestamp] and [end timestamp]. Show post text, permalink, media type and lifetime views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and shares. Rank posts by replies and highlight those with at least [reply threshold] replies. Label all metrics as lifetime results for posts selected by publication date, and leave missing values missing.

PROMPT 02

Compare profile engagement across two periods

Using Catchr, how did Threads profile likes, replies, reposts and quotes change for [profile] between [first period start timestamp]–[first period end timestamp] and [second period start timestamp]–[second period end timestamp]? Query each period separately, retain its requested range boundaries and show absolute changes where both values are available. Note any difference in period length before summarizing the comparison for a client.

PROMPT 03

Review profile view intervals

Using Catchr, show the returned Threads profile view intervals for [profile] between [start timestamp] and [end timestamp]. List profile views with each original interval-end timestamp and its offset. Identify intervals with views above [view threshold], keep missing values distinct from zero and do not infer daily boundaries from the timestamps.

PROMPT 04

Rank URLs by profile link clicks

Using Catchr, which returned URLs received the most Threads profile link clicks for [profile] between [start timestamp] and [end timestamp]? Show each URL, its click total and the requested range start and end. Sort available totals from highest to lowest, flag URLs with at least [click threshold] clicks and list missing totals separately.

Questions about Threads reporting with Catchr MCP

Which Threads profile can I connect?

Connect the authenticated Threads profile through OAuth, granting profile and insights access. The profile selected in Catchr must match the authorized identity. Reconnect if the connection expires.

Do post metrics measure engagement during my selected dates?

No. Publication boundaries select the published top-level posts to review; views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes and shares are lifetime post totals. Use profile period metrics for profile likes, replies, reposts and quotes over an explicit reporting range.

Can I combine all Threads metrics in one query?

Select one metric report at a time, optionally with profile details. Post dimensions combine with lifetime post metrics. Query profile view intervals, profile period totals, link click totals and current followers separately; these reports cannot be combined with each other or with post rows.

Can I report historical follower growth or audience demographics?

The follower metric provides the current count only, regardless of selected dates. It does not provide a historical follower series. Audience demographics and expanded carousel child data are outside the supported reporting scope.
