Build your analysis around the etracker reports you can access

etracker Analytics reports and columns vary by account. Start by discovering the available reports, then choose the attributes and supported metrics for your question. Each request uses a selected start and end date for the full reporting period.

01

Discover the right report for each client question

Review the reports available to the account linked to your Enterprise Reporting API token. Inspect a report's available columns before deciding what to include in a client review.

This gives your analysis a concrete starting point: an accessible report, a defined period, and fields confirmed for that report. Do not assume another client's account has the same report inventory.

02

Review visitor and page impression figures

Catchr exposes two supported numeric metrics when they appear in the selected report: unique_visits and page_impressions. Use the returned values to review the selected period or request a separate period for comparison.

Both metrics are returned without aggregation. Keep their reported values intact, and do not sum distinct-visitor values across rows or periods to create a client total.

03

Add context with discovered report attributes

Select the text attributes available in your report to make its figures easier to interpret. Use their returned labels to organize the review and identify rows worth discussing with the client.

A request can include up to 20 attributes and must include at least one field. Available attributes come from the selected report; Catchr does not add missing date columns or expose unsupported numeric figures.

Choose how to work through an etracker client review

A focused analysis, an assembled report, and a Catchr MCP conversation serve different parts of client work. Choose the method that fits the question, while keeping the selected etracker report, dates, and field definitions explicit.

Connect Catchr MCP to your AI assistant

Connect etracker Analytics in Catchr using an Enterprise Reporting API access token as an API key. Select the single account bound to that token, then discover its reports and choose the available fields you need.

Connect your AI destination through Catchr MCP to start asking questions. Confirm the report, selected columns, and date range before requesting an analysis; report availability must be checked for each client's account.

Four prompts for your next etracker Analytics review

Start with report discovery, then use the returned report and column names in your analysis requests. Replace the bracketed placeholders with your client's account, selected fields, dates, and review thresholds.

PROMPT 01

Find the report that can answer your client question

Using Catchr, which etracker Analytics reports are available for [account], and which could help answer [client reporting question]? List the available reports, inspect the columns of relevant reports, and identify whether unique_visits or page_impressions is available. Show the report and field choices for me to select before querying results.

PROMPT 02

Compare two client reporting periods

Using Catchr, how did the supported figures in [selected report] for [account] change between [first start date]–[first end date] and [second start date]–[second end date]? Discover the report's columns, then request available unique_visits and page_impressions with [user-selected attributes] separately for each full period. Compare matching attribute values where possible, flag unmatched rows, and do not sum the returned metrics or invent date columns.

PROMPT 03

Find rows above a page impression threshold

Using Catchr, which rows in [selected report] for [account] have page_impressions above [threshold] during [start date]–[end date]? First confirm that page_impressions and [user-selected attributes] are available. Query those columns, show qualifying rows in descending order of their returned page_impressions values, and retain the selected attribute labels. If a requested column is unavailable, explain what needs to be selected instead.

PROMPT 04

Prepare an evidence-based client briefing

Using Catchr, what should I discuss with [client] based on [selected report] for [account] during [start date]–[end date]? Discover its available columns and query [user-selected columns], using only supported metrics and attributes. Draft three observations grounded in the returned rows, reference the values behind each observation, and suggest follow-up questions. Keep possible explanations separate from findings, without joining reports or calculating totals from distinct-visitor values.

Questions about etracker Analytics reporting with Catchr MCP

What do I need to connect etracker Analytics to Catchr?

You need an Enterprise Reporting API access token. Add it in Catchr as an API-key connection, select the account bound to the token, and choose an available report. Each token connects one account; verify the reports and columns available for that client before building queries.

Which etracker Analytics metrics and dimensions can I query?

Catchr supports unique_visits and page_impressions as numeric metrics when the selected report includes them. Report attributes are available as text dimensions. Discover the report's columns before selecting fields: unsupported figures and columns absent from its metadata are not available.

Can I combine reports or add up visitor figures?

Catchr does not join etracker reports or sum distinct-visitor values. Both supported metrics use no aggregation. You can request separate periods and compare their returned results, but should not add visitor values across rows or periods to produce a total.

What limits should I consider when preparing an etracker report?

Select at least one field and no more than 20 attributes per request. Dates define the full requested period; Catchr does not create missing date columns or infer currency and percentage units. Large result sets can reach the retrieval limit and fail rather than return a silently truncated report.
