Explore AppsFlyer campaigns, purchases and user activity

Start by discovering the available AppsFlyer columns, then select the metrics and dimensions that answer your client’s question. Field availability comes from a live schema, so confirm compatible selections and date options before building a report.

01

Review campaign costs and click performance

Explore available fields such as Cost, Total Cost, Clicks, CTR and Conversion Rate alongside Campaign, Campaign ID or Campaign Type. Where supported together, use Adset and Ad dimensions to narrow a campaign review.

Select the relevant cost measure and reporting scope before comparing results. Keep Cost and Total Cost separate unless their definitions support combining them.

02

Separate purchase events, purchasers and sales

AF Purchase (Sales) measures the total sales amount for purchases. AF Purchase (Event Counter) counts purchase events, while AF Purchase (Unique Users) counts users who made a purchase.

Use these available columns to distinguish purchase volume from purchaser reach. Revenue, Activity Revenue and Total Revenue can also support reporting when available, but their names alone do not establish that they measure the same thing.

03

Put user activity into your client review

Discover available engagement columns such as Sessions, Activity Sessions, AF Login (Event Counter), AF Login (Unique Users), AF Complete Registration (Unique Users) and AF Add to Wishlist (Unique Users).

Choose compatible fields to compare activity across supported campaign breakdowns or reporting periods. Report each event’s user count separately; these counts do not establish a sequence from registration to login to purchase.

AppsFlyer reporting with Catchr MCP: common questions

How do I connect AppsFlyer to ChatGPT through Catchr?

Connect AppsFlyer in Catchr using API-key authentication, select the relevant account and choose ChatGPT through Catchr MCP. Discover the available AppsFlyer columns, then select the fields and supported date scope for your first question.

What is the difference between purchase sales, purchase events and unique purchasers?

AF Purchase (Sales) is the total sales amount for purchases. AF Purchase (Event Counter) counts purchase events. AF Purchase (Unique Users) counts users who purchased. These measures answer different questions, so keep them separately labeled in client reports.

Can I break down AppsFlyer results by campaign, adset or ad?

AppsFlyer fields include Campaign, Campaign ID, Adset, Adset ID, Ad and Ad Id. Discover which dimensions are available and compatible with your selected metrics before requesting a breakdown. Do not assume every event metric supports every dimension.

Which date breakdowns can I use for AppsFlyer reporting?

Available date dimensions can include day of the week, hour of the day, month, quarter and week of the year. Confirm the date filters and breakdowns exposed for your selected fields before comparing periods. These dimensions alone do not establish the available history or reporting granularity.
