How to Connect Your Klaviyo Account to Google Sheets

Add a Source on Catchr

To initiate the process, navigate to the Catchr homepage. On the left-hand menu, click on "Source", followed by selecting "Add a Source" located at the top right corner. Choose Klaviyo as your platform and complete the necessary steps for authentication to link Catchr with Klaviyo.

Create a New Query

Launch Google Sheets and locate "Catchr" in the menu bar. Clicking on it will reveal a dropdown, where you should select "New Query". This action is crucial for transferring your Klaviyo data.

In the new query tab, select Klaviyo as your source of data. If your Klaviyo account isn't listed, add it by clicking on the "+" icon.

Proceed to the "Select account(s)" section to pick the Klaviyo account(s) whose data you wish to import.

Choose Metrics and Dimensions

Next, navigate to the "Metrics" and "Dimensions" tabs to select the appropriate data points for your query. For Klaviyo, the following options are significant:

Metrics:

  • Emails Opened: The total number of email open events.
  • Emails Received: The total number of emails successfully received by recipients.
  • Emails Clicked: The total number of times emails were clicked by recipients.

  • Campaign Name: The specific name of your campaign.
  • Device Type: Identifies whether the recipient used a desktop, mobile device, or tablet.
  • Country: The recipient's country.

Ensure the metrics and dimensions chosen align with your data analysis and reporting goals.

Set Date Range

After metrics and dimensions selection, specify the date range for your data import in the "Date Range" tab. Catchr provides standard ranges like "Last month" or allows for custom date selection.

You can refine your data further by applying filters. Simply populate the following fields to set up a filter:

  • Field: Campaign Name
  • Operator: Equals
  • Value: Specific campaign name you're interested in

For instance, to exclusively analyze data for a particular campaign, specify its name accordingly.

Schedule & Customize Data Refreshness

In the "Options" tab, you have the flexibility to schedule automatic data refreshes. Additional settings such as "Append rows" and "Combine rows" are available to optimize how new or existing data is handled in your query.
