Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) allows you to create excellent dashboards with data issued from various platforms (Facebook ads, Google Ads, WooCommerce ).
The first step when you need a dashboard is to create a data source to link your platform data to Data Studio.
But you can encounter an error while creating your data source. It will ultimately prevent you from starting your report, as you won't be able to send your platform data to Data Studio.
When did the "Bad Request error 400" happen?
You get this error when you try to create a new data source at the final step :

"Bad Request error 400" implies that the server (Google here) cannot or will not process the request due to a client error.
It means Google can't identify you and won't let you create your Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) data source.
How to solve the "Bad Request error 400" on Data Studio?
To solve this, be sure to be connected with the same Google account in your Google Chrome Browser and Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio).
Follow these steps:
- Go back to the Data Studio home page
- Check the Google account connected to your Google Chrome browser:

- Then check your Data Studio account :

If they differ, disconnect one and reconnect with the other Google account.
You can then start creating your Data Studio data source and add it to a report!
