How to make a data source reusable in Looker Studio ?
When you create a data source from a report, this data source is embedded in the report by default. That means you can only use it in this report and it won't show up in your data source list page.
In in order to make a data source reusable, follow these steps :
- Go to menu Resources -> Manage Added Data Sources
- Find the row with your embedded data sources (check the Status column)
- Click Make this data source reusable at the end of the row.
This data source is now listed in your data source list and you can use it in another report !
PS : It might take a few minutes to appear so be patient and refresh your page !
