How to save a Looker Studio report ?

How do you save the Looker Studio report ?

Looker automatically saves your work after each modification when working on a Looker Studio report.

But there are several ways to "save" a snapshot of your report. We will see this here.

Download a PDF file of your report:

Open your report and locate the Share button at the top right. Click on the little arrow at the right side button. Select Download Report.

Chech the share options in your report.

Fill the options :

  • You can choose to import all the pages or only select some.
  • Choose to ignore the custom background.
  • Add a link to the report in the generated PDF file.
  • Add a password to open the PDF file.

Schedule an email delivery with your report:

You can choose Schedule delivery on the same menu (arrow at the right of the share button).

Here you can schedule and an email delivery with a PDF file of the report.

There is many options:

  • Receiver : you can send the report to one or multiple email adresses.
  • Customize subject and message : if you want to add text to identify the email. Great use for filtering and organizing.
  • Pages : You can choose to only send one or multiple pages.
  • Start time: schedule the first email you will receive
  • Repeat: choose a frequency at which you will receive your report.
Schedule a delivery email with a PDF version of your report.

Save your configuration and wait for your report !
